Pisang Peak is yet another popular climbing peak in Annapurna region of Nepal. Rising Just opposite of Annapurna II (7,937 m.) and roughly in between Annapurna I and Manaslu is at (6,091 m/19,980ft) above the sea level. Pisang peak climbing is idyllic for those who want to spend their holidays mountaineering in one of the most beautiful and popular region in Nepal. From the summit of Pisang peak the view of high Himalayan Mountains up above the clouds with blue sky on backdrop is incredible. The feeling of achievements and confidence once you reach the summit of the peak will delight you with full satisfaction. Pisang peak is considered one of the technical climbing peak in Nepal. The Peak was first ascended by a German expedition team in 1955.
To climb Pisang peak first of all you travel from Kathmandu to Besisahar from where your trekking starts. From Besisahar you follow the classic Annapurna circuit trekking trail for five days to reach Pisang village. From Pisang village you will trek up sparse forest and Alpine Meadow at Yak Kharka (4,380 m.) which is considered as best place to set low camp. Further you will climb up to the south-west ridge you will set your high camp at 5,400 meter. From High camp you will climb up to the Summit of Pisang Peak. The summit of the peak offers close up view of mountains like Annapurna II, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak and many more. After having successful climb to Pisang peak while trekking back you will cross highest and difficult pass of Thorong La visit Manang. You will also visit famous and holy temple of Muktinath. In Annapurna region you will get an opportunity to experience fascinating Tibetan culture, festival, tradition, explore glaciers, and view scenic places.

Meals:
When you travel to the new place for your holiday, food is most concern part of travel. While, traveling with Yarsa treks, you can experience the delightful cuisine of typical Nepali food, continental food, Italian food, Chinese food and different international cuisine. You will be suggested by your guide for good food during your trip. During the trek do not order many dishes and waste food; they have to cater more trekkers before they run off stuck. It is very hard and takes week or more for caravan and porter to brings the food in these altitude places. You will take lunch in route side, breakfast and dinner will arrange in the same lodge/Tea house.
Drinking Water:
During the trek you can get the bottled water but it is hard to dispose plastic and it will be the big problem for environment. We will provide purified mineral water during trek. In tea house you can get bottle water and mineral water in additional cost. It will better to drink mineral water rather than bottled water.
Accommodations:
We provide you best touristic hotel in Kathmandu with best location. During the trek tea house is main accommodation for trekkers. A tea house is combination of lodge and restaurant. In the tea house lodge are fairly basic, some tea house you can get separate room but in the high altitude rooms are spare with two beds with blanket and little additional furniture. There will be large dining room where you can get the warm by Bukhara stove. In the tea house there will be the solar electricity but these days most of the tea houses have electricity for charge Camera, Mobile phones and other small appliances.
Things to take:
This is very active trip we can’t stay in same place. You can take very light and necessary things. You will get porter he will carry maximum 30 kg it means 2 trekkers=1 porter. Porters are allowed to carry maximum 30 kg of your stuff. Porter will carry your necessary stuff in duffel bag.

Health & Fitness:
Pisang Peak climbing is not much difficult but you should have good physical, stamina, positive energy for summit. You don’t need huge climbing experience but you need to know the knowledge of climbing equipments. Before the summit there will be the pre-ice climbing training; training will let you know how to use climbing equipments. For Pisang peak climbing you needs to walk usually 5-7 hours of everyday and 7-9 hours in summit day. So, our advise you that you prepare yourself jogging or walking every day around 2 months before your trip. For Pisang peak climbing you have to walk in high altitude and remote villages. For successful summit you must have potential will power, physical fitness, stamina and positivity inside you. You need to consult with doctor or let us know about your physical condition before your climbing trip.
Climbing:
During the trip we will provide you an experienced, English speaking and license holder climbing guide. For the main guide, assailant guide and necessary Sherpa crew we need to know your group size then we will define the crew member that you need for the climbing trip. We are concern about your safety so we will arrange the necessary staff and Sherpa for your trip; if anybody becomes ill during the trip we still go as planned. Let you know group should be 2-12 people for the successful climbing trip.
Suitable Time to Trek:
For Trekking to the high altitude we should concern about the weather condition. Autumn (Sept-Nov) and spring (March-May) is the best season for trekking in Himalayas. Trekking in summer and Monsoon (June-Aug) is affected by rain. You can also trek in winter but tempters could be most harsh for most trekkers.

Important notes:
If you’re confused to pack up your necessary things just see in the check list tab. Bring light and necessary things. You will need medium size bag to carry your daily usable stuff. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the trek.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu our airport representative will receive and assist you to hotel. After getting refreshed visit Thamel market and rest overnight.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
Today we visit UNESCO world heritage site such as Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and other tourist places. After visit of heritage sites you are free to prepare for tomorrow trip. Rest overnight
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Bensisahar (760 m).~ 7-8
Today we drive 177 km all the way to Besisahar. We drive through the edge of Trishuli River; which is very famous for white water adventure. We cross bridge in Munglin and head towards west and pass through several small towns. Next we drive through the edge of Marsyandgi river and pass several green valleys, villages and terraced fields to reach Besisahar. After reaching Besisahar, we explore around and rest overnight.
Day 04: Trek from Bensisahar to Bahun Danda (1,310 m).~ 5-6 hours
Today is our first trek of this trip. We trek for 5-6 hours to reach beautiful place Bahun Danda. From Bahun Danda we can see spectacular view of green valleys, Marsyangdi River and mountains views. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 05: Trek from Bahundanda to Chamje (1,433 m).~ 5-6 hours
Today we trek 5-6hours all the way to Chamje. We start trek up to the ridge and descend to flat path at Syange valley. From here we can see road other side of us. Next we cross suspension bridge and climb to the ridge; from here we can see Marsyandgi River and its green valleys. Trail descends and moves gently to reach Chamje. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 06: Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1,860 m).~ 5-6 hours
Today we trek 5-6 hours to reach Dharapani. We will cross suspension bridge and ascend to reach Tal village (settlement of Gurung and Tibetan). We walk to cross the Tal valley and steeply ascend to reach Dharapani. During the trek we can see typical lifestyle, culture of local and ethnic custom. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 07: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,670 m).~ 5-6 hours
Today we trek 5-6 hours to reach Chame. Trail climbs up to high altitude and we will be Bagarchap within an hour. Trail enters to Dangyan Tibetan settlement and walks through dense forest, waterfalls and ascend stone step to reach Chame. From here we can get the magnificent view of Mt. Annapurna. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 08: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,250 m).~ 4-5 hours
Today we trek for 5 hours to reach Pisang village. Trail climbs to the ridge and descend to reach small village Talaku. After leaving Taleku village we walk for 2hours to cross bridge then ascend to reach Birthang. Birthang is the boundry between Manang and Lamjung district. Next 1 hour walk will lead us to Pisang. Here we can get magnificent view of Manaslu, Pisang peak and beautiful alpine valley. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 09: Rest day in Pisang.
Today we are staying in Pisang to acclimatize in high altitude. We explore around Pisang and your guide will tell you about climbing skills and teach you how to use climbing tools. Go for hike to the small passes. It will help your body to intimate with high altitude. Rest overnight.
Day 10: Trek from Pisang village to Pisang Kharka (4,380 m) known as Base camp.~ 3-4 hours
After acclimatization at Upper Pisang we ascend gently through pasture to the Kharka which is known as Base Camp of Pisang peak. Your crew will set the tent and cook food for you. Rest overnight.
Day 11: Trek Pisang Kharka to High camp (5,400 m).~ 3-4 hours
Today we trek 3-4 hours to High Camp. We climb to the south west ridge at the 5,400 m. There will be snow from November to March. Your crew will set camp and rest overnight.
Day 12: Summit to Pisang Peak (6,091 m) and back to Pisang village.~ 7-9 hours
Today is ultimate day for Summit to Pisang peak (6,091m) and descend to the Pisang village. Trail climbs through the ridge and final snow slop in quite technical then your guide will fix rope and leads you to the top of the Pisang Peak. After successful summit spent some time on the peak and walk back to the Base Camp. Rest overnight at tent.
Day 13: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,351 m).~ 3-4 hours
Today we trek for 4 hours to reach Manang. We walk through alpine and pass Braga village. Trail ascends to the ridge and walk through beautiful valley of Manang. During the trek Mt. Annapurna IV, Tilicho Peak and other snow capped mountains view welcome us in Manang. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 14: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka/Lather (4,000 m).~ 4-5 hours
Today we trek to Yak Kharka. We walk through the cultivated field and Marsyangdi valley. Trail turns north and goes through Yak graze lands to before reach Yak Kharka. During the trek we can see the majestic view of Mt. Annapurna, Tilicho Peak, Chuli East peak and other snow capped mountains. Explore around and rest overnight.
Day 15: Trek from Yak Kharka/Ledar to Thorong La Phedi (4,510 m).~ 3-4 hours
Today we trek 3-4 hours to reach Thorong La Phedi. If we stay in Yak Kharke we will cross bridge before Ledar. Next we ascend towards Thorong La Phedi with the splendid view of Gundang, Thorong peak, Syangang, Khatangkan. Explore the majestic view and rest overnight.
Day 16: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,710 m) via Thorong-La pass (5,416 m).~ 7-8 hours
Today is one of the longest walk of this trip. We Start ascend to Thorong La Pass with the magnificent view around. After taking some picture in Thorong La Pass we descend all the way to Muktinath. During the trek we can see scared Muktinath temple and gateway of “Forbidden Kingdom Mustang”. Rest overnight at Muktinath.
Day 17: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,726 m) via Kagbeni (2,800 m).~ 5 hours.
Today we trek all the way to Jomsom. We walk through Ranipawua and Ghatkot. Trail moves through valley and reach Kagbeni; which is located at the bank of the Kaligandhaki River. Here we can see old stone houses and Kagbeni is the gate way to Upper Mustang. Explore around, taste local brandy Marpha (very famous local brandy) and walk to Jomsom for overnight.
Day 18: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (835 m).~ 25 minutes in flight
Today we fly to Pokhara with the beautiful memory of Pisang climbing and Annapurna circuit trek. After reaching Pokhara spend evening at the lakeside and enjoy yourself and rest overnight.
Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (211 km/6-7 hours) or fly to Ktm.~ 35 minutes in flight
Today we drive all the way to Kathmandu. We drive through Dumre and turn north from Munglin and drive the edge of the Trishuli River. After reaching Kathmandu you can celebrate for your successful climbing and trek. Rest overnight.
Day 20: Free days (Shopping).
Today you are free to visit some missed places and shopping in Thamel (Big market for handicraft). After shopping we will take you for typical Nepali dinner with cultural program show.
Day 21: Final Depart.
After Breakfast/lunch Yarsa treks will drop you to International airport before 3 hours of your boarding pass. There will be farewell program before your departure.
